Without a doubt, Wisteria is one of my favorite designs. This ornament looks like it is difficult to construct but I did not find it to be so. What this design takes is time and patience. If you can follow the “pin, bead, flower, leaf” combination step in the instructions you can make this ornament. The making of the hanger was a fun hand sewing project. It is very possible that this ornament could one day be an offering if the manufacturer of the underlying lace base will go back to producing the lace using gold mylar and gold thread instead of gold mylar and white thread. The gold mylar white thread lace just does not have that rich look that this ornament style demands. Stay tuned. We may see the day Wisteria is one of your choices.
